We have adjusted the dates of the auction, which will now take place on 23 to 31 August, with the inspection starting on 17 August.

July 2020 Auction Positive improvements in rates and capacity to Asia: rate levels to China are back to normal After months of corona-induced chaos in the shipping industry, rate levels have been gradually stabilising. Currently, rate levels to China are back to normal, and our all-inclusive rate for cold storage to Bangkok has decreased by 2 DKK per kilo.

June 2020 Auction Kopenhagen Fur’s July auction will combine a physical inspection with a digital auction Motivated by the prevailing uncertainty and quarantine requirements for travelers as well as the recent outbreaks in Beijing, Kopenhagen Fur has decided to return to a digital format in July for the upcoming auction period. However, the inspection will take place physically, as originally planned.

May 2020 Auction Trusting digital inspections: the importance of Kopenhagen Fur’s top-quality sorting With the market craving the supply of raw material, most of the skins sold during the April auction have already been shipped to the tanneries in China, Cambodia, Thailand, and Greece. Production is now in full swing, and the tanneries have been reporting high levels of satisfaction with the quality of our skins, on a par with the reports from previous years.

May 2020 Auction Sales programme for June is ready The limited offering of our June auction with two million mink skins has been highly tailored to current customer demands, based on the feedback collected at the April auction. This means the June auction will focus on fewer but highly demanded types, smaller sizes, and Classic length.
