Positive improvements in rates and capacity to Asia: rate levels to China are back to normal

After months of corona-induced chaos in the shipping industry, rate levels have been gradually stabilising. Currently, rate levels to China are back to normal, and our all-inclusive rate for cold storage to Bangkok has decreased by 2 DKK per kilo.

Limitations in capacity have also been challenging. Overall, we can see how these are developing favourably for destinations in China as well as Bangkok. However, there is still limited capacity for Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Therefore we still recommend that our customers consider our air/sea solution for this destination, which has seen transit times reduced by two days.
