Top Lot in Redglow Males

Broker Yang Yang and CEO Jesper Lauge Christensen

On day 8 of Kopenhagen Fur’s September sales, broker YangYang bought the Redglow Males Top Lot for 1,500 DKK per skin for Satchi, a Chinese fashion brand.

Satchi, a high-end business menswear brand affiliated to Shanghai Satchi Garments Co., Ltd., was established in the 1980s. Satchi developed its business in Singapore, Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Malaysia and opened brand counters in more than 100 top stores throughout China, bringing a new experience of classical dress to successful men.

It is the first time for a Chinese high-end fashion house to get the Top Lot at Kopenhagen Fur. According to Satchi, they attend the auction with the specific purpose of selecting the best quality ever.
With this Top Lot, Satchi will adopt a top-level technology and a more fashionable style design, in order to redefine the classical fur.

Actually, Satchi is not unfamiliar with the fur industry: a co-brand collection with Kopenhagen Fur went on the market in 2018, which means natural fashion fabrics originating from Nordic countries have been formally introduced into China's high-end winter menswear market. This cross-sectoral vertical alliance also helps the fur industry realize the integration of superb production skills and design inspiration into limited fabrics, so that consumers can not only wear natural furs, but also feel the extraordinary craftmanship of the fabric.
