Romeo Hunte continues collaboration with Kopenhagen Fur
This Sunday, designer Romeo Hunte revealed his first ever womenswear collection during New York Fashion Week SS19. The collection will be in stores from Spring 2019 and features sporty separates and swimwear as well as outerwear fur styles created in close collaboration with Kopenhagen Fur.
Sunday September 9th New York based designer Romeo Hunte unveiled his SS19 womenswear collection at Pier59 Studio in New York. It was his first ever women’s wear collection and present for the show were, among others, music artists Young Paris and Justine Skye, basketball champion JaVale McGee as well as industry professionals like fashion consultant Fern Mallis and stylist Johnny Wujek. Evident in the use of neoprene and cool embellished hoodies, the collection plays with the concepts of luxe streetwear and contemporary swimwear.
The collection also showcased three statement fur pieces made in collaboration with Kopenhagen Fur: a full-fur layered hoodie in heritage blue mink, a versatile oversize buffalo check collar in mink as well as an oversized trench coat with bright yellow trimmings.
