2017 Hong Kong Fur Gala Night: An Outlook to The Future
On February 16, 2017 Hong Kong International Fur & Fashion Fair was officially launched at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center. As one of the largest markets for premium fur garments, HKFF has become a global platform for the international fur trade. The fair was founded in 1982, and every year the fair has attracted over 4,000 visitors from more than 30 countries.
This year, a magnificent visual feast named" An Evening of Moments" was also presented at the fair. Here,15 renowned fur fashion brands presented their new 2017 collections. The garments incorporated design elements that spoke to sensations such as romance, passion, beauty and joy. They gave the audience an unique visual experience. Besides the traditional women's wear, there was also two collections of men's wear which aimed to push the boundary of fur and fashion - quite a marvelous sight to the audience.
As usual, Kopenhagen Fur also had two booths - one for mink fur and the other for SWAKARA fur. This year, these booths mainly focused on fur technique innovation and valued-added services for customers, including cold storage facility, logistics and after-sale service. This concept proved successful with keen interest from many visitors during the fair. Apart from Chinese visitors, there were also people from Korea, Japan, Greece, Italy and even Mexico to visit Kopenhagen Fur's booths. The fur garments and technical samples were great crowd pleasers, and along with a corporate presentation video on a very large screen, visitors were given a good insight into Kopenhagen Fur's core business. In fact, many fur retailers even asked for the video to show to their own consumers in their store.
During the 3-day fur fair, Kopenhagen Fur also organized a group activity for many Tsinghua-Kopenhagen Fur EMBA alumni students. From the very first class in 2010 to the current seventh class in 2017. Although they are very busy with their own business, most of them still managed to come and meet old friends and get acquainted with new ones. Looking back to the old time, many of them said that the experience of attending EMBA class in Tsinghua was a remarkable and unforgettable experience.
