Kopenhagen Fur - Danish designer had an amazing debut at Paris Fashion Week

Last night, the Danish designer Anne Sofie Madsen showed her autumn-winter collection at Paris Fashion Week. The collection was called "solid and original" by Angela Brink, Danish fashion journalist from Fashionforum.dk. She also wrote that the collection was a great mix of "wearable" and "couture".

For several seasons, Anne Sofie Madsen has collaborated with Kopenhagen Fur, and this time was not an exception. The collaboration has resulted in three mink styles.

- I know the people at Kopenhagen Fur very well, because I have worked with them a lot. It has been amazing and very professional, and it adds something extra to the design process, says Anne Sofie Madsen.

Together with the furriers of Kopenhagen Studio, Anne Sofie Madsen had created a black jacket, a brown vest and a pastel yellow collar. Anne Sofie Madsen is especially known and acknowledged for her craftmanship and her work with a mixture of materials, and that acknowledgement was confirmed, by the message that Anne Sofie Madsen was a part of the official show schedule in Paris.

- I was so surprised, when Paris Fashion Week added me to the official show schedule. I first believed that it was a mistake or a joke, says Anne Sofie Madsen.

It is the first time Anne Sofie Madsen was a part of the official schedule at Paris Fashion Week, a schedule huge international fashion houses like Chanel, Dior and Givenchy are also a part of.

- Ever since I started my designing career I have dreamed of a show at Paris Fashion Week. People have always told me, that it would never happen, but it did, says Anne Sofie Madsen.

- The show was perfect, and all the right people had shown up. Now I'm waiting for the buyer's opinion, because that is always the most important thing.
