This August, the Yuyao–Kopenhagen Fur 10th Anniversary Fashion Show took center stage during the Yuyao Fur Fair’s 10th anniversary celebrations. Bringing together fashion professionals, industry representatives and guests from across the sector, the event looked back on a decade of innovation in Yuyao’s fur industry while showcasing the growing connection between local craftsmanship and global fashion.
Over the past ten years, Yuyao’s fur industry has built on its strong manufacturing heritage, preserving traditional tanning and fine sewing techniques while continuously responding to changing global tastes and consumer preferences.
Kopenhagen Fur has been a close partner throughout this development. From the introduction of new techniques to collaboration on design and fashion trends, the two partners have worked together over the past decade to establish the fair as an important industry platform. The theme FurChina (裘赞) has also grown out of this long-term partnership, reflecting a shared vision for the future of the fur industry.
Marking a Decade, Looking Ahead
Ahead of the runway show, Mark Oaten, CEO of the International Fur Federation, delivered a congratulatory video message, marking the 10th anniversary of the Yuyao Fur Fair and highlighting Yuyao’s growing importance and value within the global fur industry.
Kasper Reinbacher, Global President of Kopenhagen Fur, then took the stage. He began by thanking everyone who had attended Kopenhagen Fur’s first auction in Poznań, which had recently concluded and expressing his appreciation for the industry’s strong support of the event.
He also highlighted Yuyao’s competitive strengths in combining premium raw materials with original design, while reflecting on ten years of cooperation between Kopenhagen Fur and Yuyao in craftsmanship innovation and trend development. In the years ahead, he said Kopenhagen Fur would continue to strengthen international industry collaboration, share industry resources and create greater value through partnership.
Xie Yao, Chairman of Ningbo Yunfeng Investment Co., Ltd. and Ningbo Qiuzan Culture Communication Co., Ltd., also addressed the audience. He described the anniversary event as a showcase of ten years of development in Yuyao’s fur industry and an opportunity for local fur brands to engage with international fashion trends.
The Fall/Winter collections on show brought together craftsmanship, distinctive design, contemporary silhouettes and premium textures, offering a broad view of how fur fashion continues to evolve.

Chapter One・Beyond Boundaries
The opening chapter, Beyond Boundaries, featured collections from DONGMO, Saint FanYa, DVANRO and FANSHIKA, setting the tone with bold silhouettes and highly crafted fur pieces.

FANSHIKA
FANSHIKA stood out for its detailed construction and layered visual effects, striking a balance between classic craftsmanship and contemporary design. This approach drew on the distinctive techniques of Kopenhagen Fur’s KFD Masterpiece Collection.
Building on the KFD system, from color development to surface and texture treatments, FANSHIKA introduced its own creative interpretation of the techniques. The result translated the Masterpiece Collection’s emphasis on the natural qualities of fur into a design language that was distinctly its own.
Chapter Two: Soft Radiance
The second chapter, Soft Radiance, shifted the focus toward a softer, more urban take on fur, with collections from FUSHENGPICAO, Elmar Princess, TimelessBeauty and M.Y.FUR.

Lightweight silhouettes and softer color palettes gave the material a more relaxed and contemporary character. The collections demonstrated how Yuyao brands are expanding the role of fur beyond traditional outerwear, creating pieces suited to a wider range of everyday occasions and styling needs.
Chapter Three・Own the Style
The final chapter, Own the Style, brought together Zeno, BEEIATU, MARYGLENN, MEENMENGand Kopenhagen Fur, with a stronger focus on individual expression and fashion-forward design.
It was one of the evening’s most distinctive sections, with the collections emphasizing individuality rather than uniformity. Designed with younger, style-conscious consumers in mind, the pieces reflected confidence, self-expression and a strong sense of personal style.

BEEIATU
Two looks from BEEIATU were particularly notable.
“Roman Holiday” featured a deep-brown diamond check inspired by classic British style. Fine white lines crossed the pattern, while small pink hearts set on white appeared at the intersections, adding a playful and romantic element to the otherwise classic design.
“Alps” used a blue-and-white pattern inspired by zigzag houndstooth. The bright palette and the natural three-dimensional texture of the fur created a strong sense of depth, recalling the snow-covered peaks and clear blue skies of the Alps.
Together, the two designs demonstrated BEEIATU’s expertise in applying printed patterns to fur.
Across the three chapters, 13 brands presented interpretations ranging from dramatic statement pieces to softer everyday styles and experimental contemporary designs. The breadth of the collections reflected the diversity of Yuyao’s fur industry and its ability to respond to different age groups, occasions and fashion preferences.
Kopenhagen Fur
Running throughout the show was Kopenhagen Fur’s long-standing focus on craftsmanship development and fashion trend research. KFD Masterpiece techniques appeared in collections from several participating brands, while Kopenhagen Fur’s presentation in the final chapter further highlighted its approach to emerging trends.
After ten years of cooperation, this expertise has increasingly become part of the design and production process behind fur garments developed for the wider market.
Reflecting on a Decade, Moving Forward
As the show drew to a close, the anniversary event offered an opportunity to reflect on ten years of development in Yuyao’s fur industry while also marking the beginning of its next stage.
For Kopenhagen Fur, the past decade has been a long-term partnership with Yuyao — one shaped by joint craftsmanship development, collaborative trend research and the exchange of industry resources.
Over the years, mutual trust and shared business interests have helped deepen the relationship and support the development of both partners.
Looking ahead, Kopenhagen Fur will continue to build on its century-long heritage of craftsmanship while working closely with Yuyao and partners around the world. Through continued innovation in techniques and design exploration, the company aims to provide brands and designers with stronger support throughout the process, from creative concept to finished garment.
