Strategic Relocation to Poland
In 2025, Kopenhagen Fur officially initiated the relocation of our auction house from its historic home in Glostrup, Denmark, to Poznań, Poland. This move marks the establishment of the new Kopenhagen Fur Poland Operation Center.
While our geography changes, our operations continue seamlessly. We are proud to announce that auctions at the new Poland Operation Center will commence in 2026, with the inaugural auction scheduled for July. We are committed to completing our annual sales cycle efficiently, targeting a conclusion by September each yeacome to a space designed for ideas that move people. With a focus on quality, clarity, and connection, we're here to help you make an impact that lasts.
Setting the Global Standard
As we transition, our position as the world's most renowned fur auction house remains solid. Kopenhagen Fur once held 70% of the global market share and were proudly owned by 1,500 Danish fur farmers. Now, we focus on the global high-quality mink market. The inheritance and new focus ensure that the values of quality and transparency travel with us.
The legacy of the auction hammer endures. Every auction held at our new centre will continue to set the global benchmark price for mink. Historically, each auction saw sales of up to 8 million mink skins and a full range of other furs. Our transaction volume was enormous. Within merely five days, revenues would hit hundreds of millions of euros — averaging €3,000 every second.

We bring nearly 100 years of Danish grading excellence to our new Polish home. Our commitment to our clients is unwavering: they can still arrive serval days prior to each auction to inspect and evaluate the skins personally. Furthermore, we continue to embrace transparency by reporting auction prices live on the internet, allowing the world to follow the action in real-time.
