Notice on the Introduction of New Kopenhagen Fur Quality Labels
Dear Valued Kopenhagen Fur Partners,
To comprehensively upgrade our global anti-counterfeiting system and strengthen the authentication of premium fur products, Kopenhagen Fur will introduce its new Purple Quality, Platinum Quality and Premium Quality labels for all graded skins sold from the July 2026 auction onwards. The accompanying security tags have also been upgraded with enhanced security features, enabling verification across markets worldwide.
1. Key Information on the Trademark Update
01.Effective Date: Beginning with the July 2026 auction, we will introduce the following new Kopenhagen Fur Trademark system:
For Purple grade skins, buyers may apply for a new Kopenhagen Fur Purple Quality label and an upgraded security tag based on invoices.
For Platinum grade skins, buyers may apply for a new Kopenhagen Fur Platinum Quality label and an upgraded security tag based on invoices.
Burgundy grade and Ivory grade mink skins will both be issued with Kopenhagen Fur Premium Quality label.
Chinchilla skins will be also issued with dedicated Chinchilla label and matching security tag.
02.Label Application and Allocation Rules
Mink Skins
• Female: one set/label is requested for every 15 pelts.
• Male: one label set/label is requested for every 10 pelts.
Chinchilla Skins
• One set is requested for every 40 eligible pelts.
03. Replacement of Existing Labels
The replacement service is available only for previous-version Kopenhagen Fur Purple Quality labels and their matching security tags as below:
Replacement requirements: When requesting a new label set, you must return each previous-version Kopenhagen Fur Purple Quality labels together with its matching security tag as a complete set. Incomplete sets cannot be accepted. Please check all sets before shipping.
2. Complete Replacement Process for Kopenhagen Fur Purple Quality Labels

02.Inspection and Confirmation
After receiving the package, we will check that each label set is complete. The sets will then be sent to the original label manufacturer for authentication. Once the labels have been verified, we will begin issuing the new label sets.
03.Processing Time
The full process, including review, replacement and return shipment, takes approximately two weeks. Processing may take longer during periods when a large volume of replacement requests is received.
04.Issuance of New Labels
After verification, we will send new Purple Quality labels and upgraded security tags corresponding to the number of valid Purple Quality label sets returned. No additional application is required.
