Poznań, Poland – [January 30, 2026] Kopenhagen Fur, today announces an update to its auction calendar for the year. The company will hold its first consolidated auction in early July 2026 in Poznań, Poland. The 2026 July Auction will take place on:

This decision reflects Kopenhagen Fur’s commitment to delivering a strong, well-supported auction that meets the needs of both shippers and buyers. Since announcing its market entry earlier last year, the company has experienced significant interest from the global trade, alongside the practical considerations involved in launching a newly located auction location.
Several factors contributed to the revised schedule. The selected venue in Poznań is in high demand, making coordination for an earlier spring auction challenging. In addition, many shippers expressed a clear preference to attend the auction in person, which the revised timing in July is better able to accommodate. Consolidating the offering into a single mid-summer auction allows for improved coordination, participation, and overall execution.
From a buyer perspective, the later auction dates offer increased convenience. Many of Kopenhagen Fur’s customers are based in Asia and require a Schengen visa to attend European auctions. Moving the auction to July provides buyers with additional time to secure visas and better plan and coordinate their international travel schedules.
The July auction is expected to present between 1.5 and 2.0 million high-quality skins, featuring short nap characteristics and a wide range of rare mutation types, delivering a strong and competitive offering to the international market.
