Kopenhagen Fur as strategic partner in Saudi Arabia

On 10-11 May, Kopenhagen Fur participated as a strategic partner in the 'Workshop and expert Seminar on High-End Luxury Goods and integration of alternative materials into design and fashion', which took place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The event was organized by EU-GCC Trade & Business Cooperation Facility and hosted by L'Art Pur Gallery - Art and Skills Institute under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Adwa Yazeed Al Saud.

EU-GCC Trade and Business Cooperation Facility is funded by the EU Commission and aimed at establishing tighter business opportunities and connections between the EU and GCC countries. The leading partners are the Confederation of Danish Industry and Federation of Chambers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (FGCCC).

Young local Arabic designers were very interested in the fur techniques during the Kopenhagen Fur workshop on technique developments.

The GCC is no longer a new market in fashion. The greatest design talents and retailers already cater to the countries of the Gulf region: Dolce&Gabbana, DKNY, Victoria Beckham, Zara, TopShop and others. The well-travelled, well-educated young population of the Gulf with a great purchasing power are craving for the new, creative and luxurious materials in fashion design.
