Kopenhagen Fur Studio is Kopenhagen Fur’s center for creativity, innovation, and craftsmanship and is committed to bringing innovation to fur design. Every year, some of the world’s most prestigious established designers, representatives from other creative industries and up-and-coming talents are invited to work with Kopenhagen Fur Studio's skilled in-house furriers. Through these collaborations, designers get better insight into the world of fur and assists in finding new, creative ways of using this interesting material.

Having been in business for over 80 years, Kopenhagen Fur is steeped in tradition but with an ongoing aim for innovation. Kopenhagen Fur Studio is a platform for creative people from all around the globe to push the boundaries of what's possible with fur. This includes exploring new techniques, spotting trends and sharing innovative applications with fur for a range of creative realms, from fashion, to accessories, to interior design, decoration and more.

Kopenhagen Fur means heritage and quality. We are the world's leading fur auction house, and frontrunners in fur quality, design, and sustainability. To best support the industry Kopenhagen Fur opened its design studio in Copenhagen committed to further innovate fur techniques and design.
Based on research and creative technique development, Kopenhagen Fur consult and collaborate with manufacturers, fashion brands and designers to expand the use of fur in general.
Kopenhagen Fur Development is a selection of fur techniques created to inspire the fashion and fur industry. Development Vol. 1 derives from Scandinavian nature and Nordic tradition. Simplicity and the raw essence of fur as a beneficial material is key. The collection contains artisanal fur techniques together with selected contemporary silhouettes and design elements, all able to be taken further and adapted into a collection.
