Kjetil Aas and Tilde Bay Kristoffersen, two designers from Scandinavia, have just recently completed their fur styles made with Swakara skins. These designs will be used to promote this unique skin type from Namibia, and this week these designs will be promoted in Hong Kong during the International Fur Fair. The two designers have been working on their designs for a long time, and their work began last summer when the pair travelled to Namibia to see how Swakara is produced and to meet with Namibian designers. This purpose of the meeting was to ensure knowledge sharing between the many designers.
