Kopenhagen Fur strengthens the commercial focus

Kopenhagen Fur Kasper Scott

Kasper Scott Reinbacher has been appointed EVP Commercial and will be part of Kopenhagen Fur’s board of directors as of February 1. Kasper is a well-known to our customers and his main task will be to strengthen Kopenhagen Fur’s efforts to support fur businesses in order to increase fur sales. Kopenhagen Fur’s creative department, Kopenhagen Fur Studio, becomes part of Commercial as well as International Sales and Kopenhagen Fur’s Beijing Office.

- Our primary goal will be to support our customers in the main fur markets and, hopefully, we will succeed in increasing fur sales and re-position fur as a relevant material for modern consumers concerned with climate change in close co-operation with the trade, brands and fashion houses, says Kasper Scott Reinbacher.

Commercial consists of four departments, each with its own target groups and teamed up with furriers whose craftmanship is an essential part of the fur trade. The Beijing Office will, of course, concentrate on the Chinese market supporting existing customers and building new relationships with potential customers. International will be responsible for markets in Russia, Korea, Japan and Turkey whereas Fashion Partners’ main target group is fashion houses and their use of fur. The fourth department, Kopenhagen Fur Connected, will be in charge of selling fur products sourced from Kopenhagen Fur’s customers primarily to Danish consumers.

Skin collection from fur farmers and auction sales will continue unchanged under Brian Tufvesson’s management.
