Great news for North American skins

The fifth day of Kopenhagen Fur’s March auction featured a diverse collection of 240,000 North American skins including beautiful Pastel Velvet and Black.

The auction was characterized by a good atmosphere with active bidding in all types. The best quality Black was dominated by Korea with strong support from China, Russia and Greece. In general, customers paid a premium on good quality skins.

Overall, we experienced a 20% higher sales percentage compared to the most recent North American auction, meaning that, as the first auction house this year, Kopenhagen Fur was able to set an actual market price on the North American skins.

Black Velvet Females sold more than 90% at a price level 5% higher than at the latest international auctions.

CEO Jesper Lauge Christensen tells that he is satisfied with the sale and the cooperation with American Mink Exchange.
