It was in the golden 1920s that Heinrich Slupinski opened the first Slupinski fur boutique on the famous Königsallee in Düsseldorf. He was also the founder of the Slupinski philosophy: Creative sensitivity combined with traditional craftsmanship.
Heinz and Irmgard Slupinski carried the Slupinski philosophy even further during the 1950s and converted it into the success story of exclusive fur-retailing that Slupinski is today.
The third generation, Peter and Alexander Slupinski, formed the Slupinski brand in the 1970s. The brand quickly became internationally renowned and respected.
The Slupinski brothers had studied and worked in Paris, Genf, Montreal and New York in order to gather the necessary knowledge to become trendsetting furriers on the European market.
Today, there are 40 people employed at Slupinski working to produce the best fur coats. Only the best fur skins bought at the leading auction houses are used for Slupinski’s production.
During the winter season, customers will find Peter and Alexander Slupinski working at the Slupinski outlet in St. Moritz. All other days of the year, the two brothers work at the exclusive boutique in Königsallee, Düsseldorf.
