The sale of 800,000 brown females at the fifth day of the auction surpassed all expectations, as Brown and Glow females fetched as much as 6% compared to Kopenhagen Fur’s last auction in April.
Black males and females were sold at firm prices.
When comparing with the latest international auction, Kopenhagen Fur has obtained a significantly higher price for the skins and when the hammer was stroke for the last time at today’s auction, the turnover of mink reached one billion DKK.
Yesterday’s offering of Pastel males and females was sold at slightly falling prices compared to the April auction.
The auction continues tomorrow with an offering of Mahogany mink.
