Kopenhagen Fur set a world record in auctioning of mink at the second day of the auction, when 2.6 million mink skins changed hands during the 13 hours of selling.
Brown males were sold at slightly easier prices of 5%, whereas the shorthaired Velvet skins were sold at slight rising prices of 2%. Glow males were sold in line with Brown. In USD prices are firm to rising.
The offering of Swakara from Namibia was sold at high prices with the top skins fetching as much as DKK 850, whereas the offering of Afghan karakuls was only selectively sold.
Yesterday’s offering of Black Cross males and females were sold at rising prices of 2% and 8% respectively.
The auction continues tomorrow with an offering of Black, Pastel and Cross mink.
