Kopenhagen Fur has been nominated ‘brand of the year’ for the award show DANSK Fashion Awards, hosted by the editorial team from the Danish-International fashion magazine DANSK.
More than 400 professionals working with or within Danish fashion have nominated a total of three candidates for each category, which includes Best Danish Designer, Best Danish Fashion Photographer, Best Model and Best Danish Brand. In the latter category, Kopenhagen Fur will compete with fashion brand By Malene Birger and designer Henrik Vibskov.
To select the award winners in each category, a grand jury has been comprised of representatives from Danish press and fashion magazines as well as The Danish Fashion Institute and Danish Federation of Textile and Clothing in addition to representatives from Copenhagen’s three fashion fairs. The winners will be announced on 30. April 2008 at a gala dinner at a historic - yet unannounced – site in Copenhagen.
