Kopenhagen Fur opened the second day of the auction with an offering of Pearl males, which was 100% sold at prices down 9% compared to June. Pearl females sold satisfactorily at rising prices of 6%. The price of Golden Pearl males and females dropped 11% and 6% respectively. Read more...

Kopenhagen Fur opened the September auction with an offering of mutation mink. First type under the hammer was Sapphire males. A small offering of regular skins was sold 100% firm, whereas lowgrades and breeders dropped 10-20% compared to the valuation. Read more...

Fur and luxury in New York

The Museum at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York is currently running an exhibition on luxury in fashion. As is befitting for an exhibition on luxury, the FIT Museum exhibition showcases two fur styles, one of them a fur-lined high-heeled shoe from Louis Vuitton, which has also been chosen to advertise the exhibition on websites and in catalogues and brochures.
