Filling up many shop windows in the shopping streets of Denmark, beautiful fur products are standing side by side glorious Christmas decorations. While doing your Christmas shopping, there is a good chance you might catch a glimpse of the products made by Kopenhagen Fur's new collaborators, as they are now presenting their winter collections 2014.

The results of the new design collaborations are now on show in shop windows around Denmark and other parts of the world. Belsac, SOS, Julie Brandt, DAY Birger et Mikkelsen, House of Montaque, Yeti, House of Amber and Elise Gug are the 8 fashion brands that have cooperated with Kopenhagen Fur in the making of some of their winter styles and together, they represent Kopenhagen Fur's new collaborations achieved during the past 18 months.

Kopenhagen Fur wishes to make fur available to a much wider group of people than previously. To achieve this goal, the employees in Kopenhagen Nexus have been determined to attract new designers and fashion houses to use fur in a varied range of products.

- In Nexus, we help national and international recognized fashion- and clothing labels to include fur in their styles. We offer the necessary knowledge and know-how on fur and the possibilities of the material. We open up our network of suppliers and manufacturers worldwide to our partners and support their projects throughout the whole process. In return, we have the pleasure of getting new clients in the auction room by increasing the volume of sales to fashion companies and also getting new buyers to our clients, says Julie Maria Iversen, Head of Nexus.

Kopenhagen Fur emphasizes the desire to attract a wider and younger group of customers than in the past. The categories of products developed by their new design partners therefore range from shoes and bags to skiing wear and jackets. Kopenhagen Fur believes that integrating these new variations of designs will develop the understanding of fur and its potentials and at the same time appeal to new customers.

Julie Maria Iversen is very pleased with the new brand collaborations, which have been formed by Nexus this season, and the department is already working on a number of new partnerships for the winter season 2015. She reveals excitedly that next year, Kopenhagen Fur will also be represented in Japan and Australia.
