Twenty-four international students finalized their three-week sorting course with a formal reception as Kopenhagen Fur's April auction were initiated. Two of the students were in a hurry as their assistance was needed in the auction room.

23-year old Filippo Gavazzi from Fureco Fur Enterprise Company S.R.L is very proud to have completed the sorting course, but he is looking forward to get back to Italy after three intense weeks in Copenhagen. But first he has to work at Kopenhagen Fur's April auction.

- I am helping my uncle during the auction and the knowledge from the sorting course will of course be useful, says Filippo Gavazzi.

- It has been three tough weeks, but I have learned so much, I have met a lot people and I feel that I'm ready to help my uncle in the auction room.

Many new friends

Mark from Hong Kong works for the trade company Modern Fur. He is happy to have completed the sorting course.

- I registered for the sorting course to learn more about the sorting and quality of mink. I have learned a lot. The teacher gave us great experience and a good introduction to the standards of Kopenhagen Fur, says Mark.

The social elements surrounding the sorting course have been rewarding according to the young trader.

- I have met so many new friends both in the sorting class but also among the staff. You get to meet people from different fields within the trade and you get to learn aspects of their field. Talking to them gives great insights, says Mark.

The next sorting course will be held prior to Kopenhagen Fur's June auction.
