2013 Nanjing Lukou International Fur Culture Tourism Festival kicked off grandly at the Eastern Fur Plaza in Nanjing, capital of east China's Jiangsu Province, on October 19, 2013. With the help of Kopenhagen Fur, design competition, model contest, and craftsmanship contest were held successfully during the festival.

Invested by the famous state-owned China Railway No.2 Engineering Group Company, the Eastern Fur Plaza has a construction area of 140,000 square meters, a total of 1,290 shops and 78 sets of commercial houses for manufacturing use. There are around 200-500 small fur manufacturers actively doing business in the Eastern Fur Plaza. During the Fur Fashion Festival, Kopenhagen Fursigned Strategic Partnership Agreement with Eastern Fur Plaza and also presented a wonderful fur fashion show in Nanjing. Over 1000 local inhabitants and furriers enjoyed the visual feast of fur.

"With 600 years of history, Lukou has been famous for fur since early Ming Dynasty and the development of fur industry flourished in late Qing Dynasty. With plenty of fur cultural and technological heritage, Lukou aims at introducing modern western fur technology and culture to build a professional fur trading platform and fur shopping tourist paradise. And, we are so honored that Kopenhagen Fur chose to help us in this strategic stage of development. We are more confident now on our future," said Mr. Wang Lin, General Manager of Lukou Eastern Fur Plaza.
