The 7th China (Yuyao) Fur Fashion Festival kicked off in the eastern city of Yuyao, Zhejiang Province on October 27, 2013. Over 200 domestic and international fur industry fellows attended the fashion festival.

The opening ceremony of Yuyao - Kopenhagen Fur Design Studio was held during the fur fashion festival, marking Yuyao fur design enters into a new chapter of internationalization.

A letter of intent to establish a new joint design studio in Yuyao was signed by Kopenhagen Fur and its strategic partner Yuyao China Fur Market in April this year. The two sides will collaborate more closely and more in-depth on creative fur design, in order to further benefit the sustainable growth of this important mink production base in China.

Kopenhagen Fur also brought the latest fur fashion trend show to Yuyao China Fur Market on October 28. Latest fur design and technique innovation was presented by Kopenhagen Fur's domestic and international partners.

"The theme of this year's show is 'bridge'. We hope Kopenhagen Fur is just a bridge between Yuyao and Denmark, through which furriers in Yu Yao can get access to the highest-quality fur material, latest fur technique and design inspiration. We also hope to bring fur produced in Yu Yao into the international arena," said Kenneth Loberg, Marketing and Business Development Director.

Kopenhagen Fur and Yuyao China Fur Market has become strategic partner in 2011. During the past few years, over 500 manufacturers and 800 fur shops have established themselves in Yu Yao China Fur Market. Now Yuyao is striving to be the leader in Chinese fur industry and Kopenhagn Fur is therefore naturally the most suitable partner for us to reach our goal together, said Mr. Hong Liqing, the General Manager of Yu Yao China Fur Market.

The 7th China (Yuyao) Fur Fashion Festival will last till December 31, 2013.
