1-2700The Annual Charity Gala Ball 2013 organized by Danish Chamber of Commerce in China (DCCC) kicked off at the InterContinental Beichen in Beijing on April 27, 2013.

As one of the most important sponsors, Kopenhagen Fur brought two Fur Shoe Stools tailed for the Gala Ball by Mr. Zhu Xiaojie, a famous Chinese furniture designer.

The stools were made of high quality brown mink fur, natural karakul lamb skin and stainless steel. They were sold in the Gala Ball through a silent auction course and all the proceeds were donated to the children from poverty-stricken families in China.

"Kopenhagen Fur has always been dedicated to the philanthropy course in China. It has helped us to raise approximately 30,000 yuan each year in the previous years. With the amazing Fur Shoe Stools, Kopenhagen Fur will absolutely help to raise more money this year," said Laura Pilbeam, head of Secretariat at DCCC Beijing.

Kopenhagen Fur's corporate culture focuses on bringing more educational opportunities to Chinese children from poverty-stricken areas. Based on this, DCCC founded many programs aiming at helping disadvantaged children with their study.

DCCC has helped to established many schools in China, including the provinces of Guizhou, Yunnan, Sichuan, Henan, and the Sun Village in Beijing. Kopenhagen Fur made their contribution by sponsoring the annual Gala Ball.

DCCC has been organizing the Annual Charity Gala Ball in Beijing since 2002. Kopenhagen Fur has been one of the most important sponsors of the annual event since 2011.
