The 2013 A/W Shanghai Fashion Week was held from April 10th to 16th at fashion and entertainment hub Xintiandi in Shanghai, east China. As one of the most attractive fashion events in Asia, Shanghai Fashion Week focused on domestic brands and designers this year.

Cooperating with Kopenhagen Fur, the brand La chamber miniature, founded by the designer James and his brother Hong, held a splendid fashion show in the Shanghai Fashion Week. The show attracted over 250 people, including many celebrities and international media professionals. The collection consisted of a wide range of natural materials as perfect combination such as fur, leather, mohair and loden. Fur was absolutely the most compelling element in the show.

As the world's best fur material supplier and the most famous fur innovation center, Kopenhagen Fur attracted a lot of designers who were interested in adding fur as a new element of their design.

"I had never tried fur in my work before and even hadn't thought about it. After knowing about Kopenhagen Fur, we learnt a lot of possibilities that fur could bring to us. Hong and I visited Kopenhagen Fur Beijing Office, where we saw many wonderful samples. We were really inspired to put fur into our collections," said designer James, founder of the brand La chamber miniature.

The cooperation with La chambre miniature also had special meaning for Kopenhagen Fur, according to Chris Cui, the General Manager of Kopenhagen Fur Beijing Office.

"La chambre miniature, an Haute Couture brand originated from Shanghai, is ambitious to go to the New York Fashion Week. Kopenhagen Fur would like to support talents with ambitions. After collaboration with La chambre miniature, Kopenhagen Fur entered another hot fashion hub - the Shanghai Fashion Week for the first time," she said.

With the win-win cooperation, fur in La chambre miniature collection led a new round of fashion trend in Shanghai Fashion Week. Kopenhagen Fur once again showed its influence in the fashion industry.
