As the winter phases in, Miss Happiness, Kopenhagen Fur's largest marketing campaign in China ever, has kicked off its second round competition with some happy and teary moments.

The competition has proved to be very successful as around 1,000 ladies have participated in the first round selections. In each region, 20 finalists have been selected for the second round competition called Regional Final. The top three from each Regional Final will be admitted into the Grand Finale in Beijing in January.
The first Regional Final took place in one of KC's stores in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province on November 12. Ladies in Harbin are widely known around China for their beauty and elegance. The 20 contestants rightly proved so, and much more. They went through disciplines such as catwalk, posing and 'happy performances' to show their skills and happiness. Many of them surprised the audience with their talent by writing Chinese calligraphy on stage, or singing in the most professional way. During one of the tests, five contestants wrote wishes on post cards to each other on the spot, and as the sharing of happiness and respect got emotional, they all cried. The top winner Ms. Yu Wenxia has not only the looks of a super model, but also the talents of a singer. In fact, she will take an examination for a graduate program in singing Chinese folk music. Her look and voice definitely beam with happiness.
- All the girls are extremely beautiful and talented and if it was possible, we would like to take everyone to the grand finale in Beijing, said Per Knudsen, chief auctioneer at Kopenhagen Fur and one of the judges.Happiness_1
On November 19, the Regional Final moved to Changchun in northern Jilin Province. Paris Spring, a Kopenhagen Fur Certified Boutique known for its high quality fur coats and innovative designs, hosted the event. More than 200 VIP's showed up to watch the finale and local media was there to cover the event. The judges witnessed amazing performances ranging from traditional Chinese dancing to the recital of German poems. The winner Ms. Lin Lin, a beautiful 21-year-old university student with a charming smile, said: - I never expected that I would make it to the finale. I am very grateful that Kopenhagen Fur has given me this opportunity. I have never been to Beijing, so that makes it even more exciting for me to go to the Grand Finale.

The top three of each Regional Final wins a fur product sponsored by Kopenhagen Fur's local partners like KC or Paris Spring. Two other awards were given to the contestant with most votes online and with the most popular microblog.
The partners appreciate the value of the competition, both its creativity and the direct impact on sale. Mr. Liu Yajun, owner of Paris Spring, was very happy with the Regional Final: -Kopenhagen Fur is not only great at staging large-scale events very professionally. For us, today's event meant that we increased our normal sales for a Saturday with 400-500%.
All of the participants have, along with taking part in the competition, been educated about Kopenhagen Fur's work in China, Danish happiness, and fur as a product with happy features. - We do not only want to host a big model competition, Lise Hansen of Kopenhagen Fur says, It is just as important to give all of the ladies in-depth knowledge about Denmark and our position as the biggest producer of quality fur in the world.
The Regional Final will soon move to the remaining five cities in high gear while spreading happiness on the way. The grand finale will take place during the annual Beijing Fur Fair in January. Among the judges and guests, leading fur- and fashion brands as well as representatives from leading Danish companies doing business in China will be present.
