The workshop is the heart of Kopenhagen Studio - both figuratively and specifically. Placed in the centre of the Studio it is also the centre of all the activities that take place at Kopenhagen Studio.
The workshop is divided into two floors. The top floor of the workshop focuses on the more traditional usage of fur material; i.e. clothing. However, there is nothing traditional about the work taking place at this workshop. Designers from all levels - students, established and household brands - come here to be inspired and to develop their fur collections in close cooperation with the highly skilled furriers working here. Every year, several designers pass through the workshop and every year new techniques are developed and new barriers are transcended.
On the bottom floor of the workshop the focal point is the more untraditional usage of fur. Here, our skilled designers and furriers work to explore new industries such as interior and accessories, but also artists and VIPs pass through here in their search for new material and innovative designs.
Exploring the possibilities within fur is a focal point for the entire workshop - both the top and bottom floor - and innovation is continuously at the core of everything that is produced here.
