New area manager in North America
We are pleased to inform you that Barry Jordan has been appointed by Kopenhagen Fur as area manager for Canada and the USA.
During recent years Kopenhagen Fur has attracted increasing interest from fur farmers in North America and therefore it is natural for us to strengthen our position in this important market.
As of 1 August 2010 Barry Jordan will be responsible for collecting pelts in North America on behalf of Kopenhagen Fur.
Barry has many years of experience in the fur trade and has a complete understanding of North American mink and fox as well as various wild furs.
With Kopenhagen Fur as a partner ranchers will find a company that is dedicated to maximizing the income from their pelts.
Kopenhagen Fur is, by far, the largest auction company in the world and consequently attracts the largest buyer attendance which enables us to achieve the highest prices for most mink types.
We also have the lowest selling costs on the market.

The preliminary sales programme is ready
The preliminary sales programme for Kopenhagen Fur's September auction is now ready.
The auction takes place from Friday afternoon, 10 September till Thursday 16 September.
Approx. 4.6 million mink skins will be on offer during the auction.

Auction results in English on SMS
The SMS service is free of charge.
An SMS will be sent when one of the main mink types has been sold and will contain information about skin type, sales percentage, average price, top price and price deviation.
Registration as follows:
In order to subscribe to this service you should send an SMS with the wording "pris uk start" to the number +4523901623. You will then receive an SMS confirming your registration. The registration must be made from the mobile on which you want to receive the auction results.
To unsubscribe you should send an SMS with the wording "pris uk stop" to +45 2390 1623. You will receive an SMS confirming that you want to stop receiving SMS’s from Kopenhagen Fur.
You do not have to register before each auction. Once you have registered, you will automatically receive the SMS’s each time an auction takes place at Kopenhagen Fur.
