Black and White Swakara top lots sold at Kopenhagen Fur

Buyer of the White Swakara top lotAhead of opening a new fashion factory – with the inspiring name Guida Lab - in Naples, Italy, Carlo Guida Ltd., represented by Giorgio and Tommaso Guida, bought the White Swakara Top Lot at top price DKK 710 on Tuesday.

The skins are intended for a garment for a Russian customer, whose name must be kept a secret. It’s not a secret, however, why Giorgio went all the way to secure the most expensive Swakara lot – he’s a huge fan of Swakara:

- It’s a fantastic material, we like it very much. We always buy a lot of Swakara, Giorgio Guida said.

For the Black Swakara top lot, the price ended at DKK 530 per skin for lot no. 239092. Being the second top lot buy this year, Mr. Alessando Pajaro was quite happy with his achievement, which – as it is often the case – is meant to become a special garment for a special customer. In this case the special customer is likely to be a Russian, Mr. Pajaro said.

Buyer of the Black Swakara top lot - Swakara is the best quality of Karakul, and I like to think we do something for the Namibian farmers. You know, the story behind the Karakul skins, Mr. Pajaro said explaining his buy.
