Norwegian Type Fox sold at the auction in Copenhagen

Norwegian Type Palette Kopenhagen Fur 1125

On the fifth day of the March auction in Copenhagen, the market's finest collection of Norwegian Type foxes was offered. The collection attracted customers from Turkey, Russia and Korea, who were very impressed by the grading and the high quality of the goods. The first type sold was a collection of 33.000 Silverfoxes graded by Norwegian Type specific characteristics. The collection was sold selectively at high sales rates in the lower qualities, while the top collection was protected by the auction house and some of the best skins were withdrawn. The prices of the Silverfox collection averaged DKK 735, equivalent to the stable prices compared to the latest international auction. At the recent auction in Helsinki, the Silverfox collection achieved a price increase of 15% and this level was confirmed at the Copenhagen auction.

The auction also offered a collection of Blue fox which were sold at 10% lower prices than at the latest international listing - the sales percentage of Blue foxes was 85%. The sale of the Blue foxes confirmed the tendency on recent fox auctions in December and March, and the market for Blue fox is difficult at present.

The auction also offered great collections of mutation foxes. Parts of the collection were sold at great prices, while the remaining part was protected by the auction house's sales policy and withdrawn from the auction.

Throughout the evening the sale of the foxes continued at the office and the remaining unsold collection will be offered in our private treaty sale.
