Both the number of visitors and the volume of business increased at this years MIFUR in Milan.
More than 15,000 visitors went through the gates of the 16th MIFUR in Milan in early March. The exhibition attracted 12 percent more foreign buyers and 4 percent more Italian buyers compared to last year.
- We are satisfied. We opened this exhibition with all the clear signs of market recovery and the strong showing of fur products in the whole fashion segment and on the catwalks. What was most satisfying was seeing the exhibitors in good spirits and very busy over the four days of the exhibition, Mifur Chairman Norberto Albertalli said to Infur Magazine.
Buyers from all over the world flew in, and remarkable was it that Russian and American buyers both were up with plus 22 percent, while buyers from Japan and Hong Kong were up with more than 45 percent. Also Europe continued the positive trend and was strongly represented.
