Graduation day for the sorting and auction procedure course
18 June 2011Auction
Today, the largest class ever finishes the sorting and auction procedures course. Three weeks with learning and forming friendships has ended.
It was 32 happy students that received their diploma in Kopenhagen Room this morning.
The class is not only the largest ever; it has also been a while since so many nationalities were represented at the course. The students have not only learned a lot, they have also formed new networks.
- I now know a lot more about the fur industry. But now I also have a world wide network, so that is great, Carmen Rivero from the Spanish retail company Crivero says.
She and half the class are from Europe while the rest are from China.
Head of Kopenhagen Fur Academy, Hanne Kirkegaard, is pleased that so many different people from the fur industry has decided to take the course.
- Every year, Kopenhagen Fur Academy proudly presents a programme of sorting courses. Kopenhagen Fur is the only auction house which offers a programme as thorough and educational as these courses. The course gives you an opportunity to learn the specifics of the sorting as well as the auction procedures in an international atmosphere, and we are happy that so many have taken the opportunity, Hanne Kirkegaard says.
Kopenhagen Fur offers sorting courses in October 2011 and January 2012 and a sorting and auction procedures course in June 2012.
