Show and service drove sales in Harbin

On 5 December, Kopenhagen Fur and Harbin International Fur City (HIFC) held an event for over 200 guests. Mr. Søren Jacobsen, deputy ambassador of the Danish embassy in Beijing and Mr. Kam Lam, investor of HIFC joined William Chen, general manager of Kopenhagen Fur China Office for the event.
HIFC is a leading retailer located at an up-market commercial area of the city, at 11,000 square meters and housing 25 brands. It expects to sell 12,000 mink coats this season, an increase of 20% over last year. HIFC and Kopenhagen Fur have locked up in partnership since HIFC opened their doors three years ago, mainly in the form of holding joint events and trainings.
HIFC remain confident about the sales target this year, and aim to use this event with Kopenhagen Fur as the jumping board for the upcoming holiday season. Moreover, Mr. Kam Lam believes that HIFC will be the choice of fur buyers thanks to its wide array of good services.
The show was a big success. The creative styles from Kopenhagen Studio and the classic collections from HIFC shared the furry catwalk. Consumers got inspired and voted with their purchasing decision: over 100 fur coats were sold on the day of the event.
- I'm very pleased to see such a high-level event for fur buyers in Harbin, the biggest fur consumption city in China. It shows the need and desirability to own a fur coat. The customers really enjoy it, says Ms. Li Rumei, store manager at Harbin International Fur City.
- HIFC is no doubt one of the leading fur retailers in the world, said Mr. Søren Jacobsen. - And I'm delighted to see that the majority of the fur coats here use Danish skins. Styles made with Danish skins are always in the limelight of international fashion weeks and in the wardrobe of people a-la-mode around the world. No wonder consumers in Harbin are proud to wear them, he said.
